Everything you need to know about the pipes that connect your home to the water mains in the street. Your Water Utility Company will maintain the supply pipe to the boundary of your property, but the pipe from your property boundary into your home is your responsibility. 
 

As a household customer, you are responsible for the maintenance of all the plumbing within your home and also the external pipework which is located within the boundary of your property.
